Safety First

General:
The following information will be helpful in making your trip to the farm a pleasant experience. We maintain a safe environment for our visitors, employees and animals and we ask you to help us keep it that way.

Children  and parents  should remain with your group at all times during the visit. You will be outside so dress appropriately; closed toe shoes, comfortable clothing, hat for sun protection.

We have handwashing stations with soap and water and there is also a vault toilet on site.

Animal Precautions

The US Center for Disease Control has issued guidelines for reducing the risk of catching enteric pathogens while at farms like ours. We encourage healthy interactions with our animals, therefore you should know:

1. People at high risk for serious infections are children less than 5 years old, the elderly, pregnant women, and people with compromised immune systems. These people should approach animals with extreme care.

2. Food, beverages, bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers, and strollers are not allowed near animals. Keep hands away from mouths/faces at all times. Do not allow children to suck thumbs.

3. Hand washing is required after visiting the animals, even if wipes and sanitizers have been used.

Warning

Under Oklahoma law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of the agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals, as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death. You are assuming the risk of participating in this agritourism activity.”
