What Makes KuneKune Pork Different

KuneKunes produce exceptionally succulent and flavorful pork. Kunekune meat is rich, red, and marbled with fat. The meat is a red meat and contains delicate marbling that gives it a sweet, nutty taste and tender texture, which makes it a preferred choice by many chefs.  The fat from Kunekune pigs is also tasty and can add flavor to bacon, sausage, and dried meats. Besides being tasty it also has health benefits over other types of pork.

Tests show KuneKune pork contains higher levels of anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids and less saturated fat than standard factory-farmed pork from other breeds. This gives it strong appeal for health-conscious consumers.
